Meet the Children in Huaraz
DAVID - MY STORY
David is 10 years old and lives with his family near the river in Huaraz. David is a happy and boisterous young boy who lives with 9 other members of his family in a small, two room adobe house with a corrugated roof, secured by rocks.
David's reading age is about 6 years old and this year he's working to improve this along with his basic mathematics. With a few more books and a bit more encouragement David will keep practising and get better.
NILTON - MY STORY
Nilton is 9 years old, and lives near the river in Huaraz. Nilton is a smart kid and he is always very happy, who lives with 5 other members of his family in a small, one room, adobe house with a corrugated roof, secured by rocks.
