Get involved
At
Seeds of Hope, volunteers make up the majority of our workforce, so they
are very important to us. We're always looking for volunteers to help
out, whether in the classroom or behind the scenes, for a few hours a
week or for a residential stay. All the activities you could get involved
with are very rewarding, and we welcome everyone, so
why not get in touch now?
LOCAL VOLUNTEERS
People
from within the local community are vital to our work as well. Our local
volunteers work with the children in the classroom, develop relationships
and liaise with parents, work with local businesses for support and provide
Spanish tuition for the international volunteers. We need people with
local knowledge, an understanding of how the social and education system
work in Peru and a bit of commitment. With flexible working hours, we
can work around you, your studies or your work commitments. Giving just
a few hours a week can be very fulfilling, so if you think you'd like
to get involved.

INTERNACIONAL VOLUNTEERS
We
welcome international volunteers from all backgrounds to work in our projects.
Our previous international volunteers have come from the United States,
Britain, Canada, France, Belgica and Japan and are usually professionally trained in
a variety of areas from teaching to engineering. They usually come to
us whilst travelling in Peru, on a gap year, during retirement or simply
for a working holiday.
We have opportunities working with the children or
behind the scenes and currently need teachers, social workers, psychologists,
project co-ordinations, medically trained people, language professionals,
marketing and fundraising professionals. To get involved and make a difference,
fill in our volunteer request form here.
As an international volunteer, we would ask for a monthly
fee, which covers your accommodation and food.
